Stereotypes about blondes
id: 10044020

Psychologists still haven't come to a consensus about why jokes about silly blondes arose. The following theory became the most widespread: at the subconscious level, we have preserved the archetype of a blond person trained for years. Blonde hair has long been associated with wisdom, holiness, purity - just think of golden-haired and blue-eyed angels. Grandparents, as the most experienced members of society, used to be highly respected.

But young blondes did not yet have the necessary life experience, so the usual image was too different from reality. Although psychologists claim that blondes are often much more determined and self-confident than their black and red-haired sisters.

It is believed that the myth of the stupidity of blondes has its roots in the famous work "Gentlemen prefer blondes". A book, a Broadway production, and then two film adaptations, the most famous of which was with Marilyn Monroe. Laurel Lee cannot be called very stupid, she is rather selfish, but the dream of an easy life coupled with attempts to achieve it thanks to her cute appearance ... In general, since then, the image of a silly blonde has become almost iconic.

However, now this stereotype is slowly but surely breaking down. Blondes become famous actresses, manage huge corporations and even states, write bestsellers and prove that it is possible to be beautiful and smart. Among the most famous natural blondes are Angela Merkel, Sharon Stone, Hilary Clinton, Dalia Grybauskaite, Anna Havalda, Joan Rowling, Mary Kay, Jodie Foster and Madonna.

If earlier the most famous character was the aforementioned Marilyn Monroe, now Daenerys Targaryen, aka Daenerys Bureborn from the house of Targaryen, aka the Mother of Dragons, confidently leads the fair-haired beauties. In every sense, a chic woman who destroys all stereotypes about blondes.
