Mistakes when combining scarves with clothes that everyone makes
id: 10041628

Mistake 1. A tube scarf over a tight sweater
A huge knitted tube scarf in combination with a narrow top visually enlarges the neck, not to mention the fact that it looks simply ridiculous and strange. If you like such a scarf, choose an accessory made of thin yarn that can be easily hidden under outerwear.

Mistake 2. Too tightened scarf
A scarf that is too tight around the neck or a short puffy scarf tied in a tight knot looks like a bow around the neck of the cat Leopold from the famous Soviet cartoon. In addition, it distorts the proportions in the image. It would be more correct to choose a wide scarf and throw it over the coat. It is better to opt for a wide quilted scarf, which, like a shawl, can be casually thrown over a coat and thus add lightness and chic.

Mistake 3. Too big scarf If you wrap a huge scarf around your neck, consider that you have halved your height. This is absolutely contraindicated for short girls. A much more elegant and relevant scarf will look under the strap, in the style of a poncho or cape.

Also, do not wrap yourself in a huge scarf if you, for example, are wearing a leather jacket. There is a contrast and others will want to warm you. With light clothing, the scarf should be used as a decoration, wear it easily and naturally.

Mistake 4. Wrong combination of scarf and hat
Hat and scarf should be friends with each other in shade and mood. Textured knitted hats do not look good with thin light scarves. But a hat set plus a scarf of the same color and texture is no longer fashionable. It is better to choose one texture and one color, but different shades.

Mistake 5. Combining an active scarf with a colorful top
Now scarves with logos and inscriptions are becoming more and more relevant. They are great for sprucing up your everyday look! But they look great only on a calm background. Remember, the more complex the scarf, the more concise your coat, jacket or down jacket should be.
