Working in a rehabilitation center is not easy, but very important. We try to help children at all stages of their lives, from diagnosis, progress through the rehabilitation and recovery program, and ending with psychological support during the period of adaptation in society.
In working with children who are experiencing physical or mental difficulties, I try to build a relationship of trust so that they can feel comfortable during the sessions. I use various methods such as games, drawing and other forms of therapy to enable children to express their feelings and thoughts.
One of the most important aspects of my work is the support of parents and close children. Often they are also stressed and emotionally overwhelmed by the difficulties their children face. I work with parents to help them better understand their children and learn effective communication strategies.
I hope that my blog will be useful for everyone who is interested in psychology and working with children. I will share my experience and knowledge on how to help children and their families in rehabilitation centers. If you have any questions or topics that you would like to discuss, please leave a comment and I will try to answer them as soon as possible.
