Reason 1: Faceless fear
The formation of desire is based on emotions, at the appearance of which we have two options: to carry out the desire or to stop himself unknown fear. More often than not, it is a faceless fear. We are afraid to act, but we do not know and do not understand why.
And here it is important to ask ourselves the question, "What will happen if I do this and follow my desire? What's so scary that will happen?"
Reason 2. The Inner Critic
Criticism from the outside as well as the inside gets in the way of realizing our desires very much. It is important to confront any criticism. The external critic needs to take back responsibility for what is said and show your psychological boundaries. Perhaps you were criticized or devalued by your parents and you continue to be afraid to act, then try to take a risk and disprove childhood fears by telling yourself that you are no longer a child and know your own worth.
If your inner critic resents you, imagine what he looks like and reduce it to the size of a pin, and then imagine how you pin a piece of paper to him with the words: "Be quiet. I'm the boss here now."
Reason 3. Support of the environment
If you are surrounded by those who are not confident, talking about their problems, whining about their bad life, you will be immersed in negativity with them. And then their fears of an unhappy life will consume you. So it is important to surround yourself with people who support, admire, respect and share your views. Get rid of the negative environment, choose those who are active in life and think positively.
Reason 4. Selective Susceptibility or Focus of Attention.
If we fixate on negativity, our psyche begins to turn on the search that confirms this negativity, focusing on it. This is where the principle of "Like attracts like" comes into play. Therefore, it is necessary to accustom ourselves, to cultivate our awareness, and to tune in to the positive.
Reason 5. Visualization as a tool for wish fulfillment
The fact is that the brain does not distinguish between reality and our imagination. When you imagine that your cherished wish has come true, you will feel a rush of strength, energy and good mood. Such a mood, of course, contributes to the fulfillment of desires, as you become more active, energetic and ready for exploits. Visualize the fulfillment of your desires, make a visualization map where you can capture with pictures your desired future. If it is your true desire, it will definitely come true.
Reason 6. Is it my wish?
It so happens that we make a wish that is not ours. We repeat the desire after someone else, taking someone else's dreams as an example, thinking that we also want it. When the desire is truly yours, other feelings will emerge: joy, lightness, creativity, a surge of activity, action to find a way out, etc.
To determine if this desire is yours, write the answers to the questions:
- Why do you want the fulfillment of this desire?
- What do you want to get out of it?
- How will you use it?
- What feelings will you experience when this wish is granted?
- How will your life change after the wish is granted?
Reason 7. The power of a wish and the belief in it
Accordingly, if the wish is yours, the power of the wish will be high. If you borrowed your wish, or if it is not actual for this moment, or if it's not yet time for its realization, or you don't believe in its fulfillment, then it is unlikely that it will come true. Believing in fulfillment increases the power of the desire itself.
Reason 8. Watch out for dreams coming true.
When you learn to set goals properly, not be afraid to follow your desires and feel pleasure from the results, your life will be full and meaningful. And here, the main thing is to dream carefully, because dreams do come true. Let your desires be sincere, aimed at good and love, bring you and your surroundings joy and happiness.
