The first thing I keep since childhood is my favorite doll. This doll was given to me for my first birthday by my grandmother. I remember how I played with her every day and how she was my best friend as a child. Even now, when I am already well over 30, I sometimes take this doll and remember those times when life was so simple and carefree.
The second thing that I have kept since childhood is my first drawing. I drew it in kindergarten when I was only 4 years old. The drawing represents a house, a sun, a tree and several flowers. At first glance, this may seem simple and not very meaningful, but for me it is a memory of how I began to be interested in art and creativity.
The third thing that I have kept since childhood is my first book. It was a storybook that was given to me for Christmas when I was 5 years old. I remember how I read every page with interest and how my parents read me bedtime stories. This book helped me develop a love of reading and was the first step towards education.
The fourth thing that I have kept since childhood is my first letter. I wrote it to my best friend when we moved to another city. I remember how long I thought what to write and how I waited for an answer. This letter helped me keep in touch with my friend and taught me the value of friendship.
