id: 10052246

Attachment is an integral part of our lives and determines our ability to form healthy and deep relationships with other people. But what happens when our type of attachment becomes an obstacle to our relationship?

The first type of attachment is secure. People with secure attachments are confident and feel they can rely on other people when they need help. In a relationship, they seek intimacy and the assurance that they are loved and cared for. They are open to emotional intimacy and willing to share their feelings and thoughts with their partners.

The second type of attachment is avoidant. People with this type of attachment tend to avoid intimacy and openness in relationships. They do not want to depend on other people and do not like being pressured. They are often insecure and may feel uncomfortable when someone tries to get to know them better.

The third type of attachment is ambivalent. People with this type of attachment may feel strong emotions, but may not always express them adequately. They tend to be attached to their partners, but may also feel restless and anxious about their relationship.

Regardless of our type of attachment, we can change our relationship behavior and learn how to build healthy relationships.
