I met my best friend when we were both at university. We were in the same group and I immediately liked her energy and sense of humor. We started talking and quickly became inseparable friends.
But there was a time when we decided to pursue our careers in different ways and moved to different cities. We continued to keep in touch through phone calls and messages, but we didn't get to meet often.
However, when I faced difficulties in my personal life, she was the one who supported me and helped me overcome the difficulties. She was just there and that was all I needed to feel better.
It seems to me that having a friend is one of the most valuable things in life. Friends can be by your side during difficult times, support you when you feel vulnerable, and make your life more joyful and colorful.
Of course, we all have different ideas about what friendship is and what qualities a true friend should have. But for me, friendship is, above all, mutual support and trust. A friend should be someone who listens and understands you, someone who helps you get better and grow.
My best friend has always been for me the one who accepts me for who I am, and I know that she will always be there when I need it.
So, if you don't already have a real friend, I would advise you to find one. Do not be afraid to take the initiative, look for common interests, be open and kind.
