From hand to hand: traditions of the easter kulich
id: 10052793

🍎When I was little, every year before Easter I would go to my grandmother's village to spend time with her and learn her secrets in making kulich. My grandmother taught me not only the recipe, but also the traditions that go along with this holiday.

🍎She told me that Easter Kulik should be tall and fluffy, with a delicate scent of vanilla and rum. We used only fresh ingredients, and my job was to help my grandmother mix the dough, add ingredients, and stir. I remember watching my grandmother with admiration as she deftly kneaded the dough and shaped it into beautiful cakes.

🍎But the most interesting part was the coloring of the eggs. Grandma used natural dyes such as onion skins, beet juice, and tea to give the eggs a rich color. We applied different patterns to the eggs to make them look special and beautiful.

🍎Baking the kuliches and dyeing the eggs was not only a fun activity, but also a wonderful opportunity to spend time with my grandmother and learn traditions that are passed down from generation to generation.

I hope that my story will inspire you to create your own traditions and make delicious Easter dishes with your loved ones.
