In traditional Ukrainian culture, Easter is a time of special joy, which is accompanied by an abundance of various traditions and rituals. One of the most famous rituals is krashanka - painting eggs in various colors and decorating them with drawings and geometric patterns. In addition, on this day, Ukrainians usually cook a real Easter dough pie and various other dishes.

Easter is also a time of giving gifts to relatives and friends. Men tend to give their wives and daughters special gifts that symbolize love and care.

One of the traditional gifts is the Easter cat, which contains various edible items such as Easter eggs, Easter bread, sausage, cheese, butter, and other products, especially sweets for children and women. In addition, men can give their close and dear people various souvenirs, such as jewelry, embroidered tablecloths, napkins or other items that symbolize national culture and traditions.

Also, men can give their wife or daughter a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which means admiration and respect. For wives and girls, cosmetics or perfumes can also be a good gift, and for girls - a doll or other toy.

It is important to note that in Ukraine Easter is not only a time of gifts, but also a time of family communication and solitude. On this day, many families gather at a common table, share their experience and joy, communicate with each other and remember the past times.
