One funny story happened in 1957 in Britain. Then the British television channel BBC, as part of the humorous program "Panorama", reported that there was a massive spaghetti harvest in Italy, and a video was shown on TV screens in which Italian farmers harvest spaghetti from their trees. Many people believed the joke, and the BBC started calling and writing asking how they could grow their own spaghetti too. This story became known as the "spaghetti joke" and became one of the most famous April Fool's Day jokes.
Since then, April Fool's Day has become a traditional holiday in many countries, and every year people delight each other with new ideas for pranks and jokes. But it is important to remember that you need to have fun with respect for others and not harm them.
