Easter is one of the main and most festive events in Ukraine. This holiday, as in many other countries, is associated with the traditions of the Christian church. However, along with religious rites, in Ukraine there are many folk customs and traditions associated with Easter.

One of the most common customs in Ukraine is Easter eggs. This art of painting eggs is one of the most ancient in Ukraine and continues to be very popular to this day. Eggs are painted with various patterns and motifs that symbolize life, prosperity and fertility. After painting, the eggs are presented as gifts to relatives and friends, and are also used during religious ceremonies.

Another custom associated with Easter in Ukraine is Easter cake. This is a traditional Easter bread made with various spices, fruits and nuts. Each kulich has its own unique recipe and is prepared in different regions of Ukraine.

Also during the Easter holidays, Ukrainians prepare other traditional dishes, such as fried eggs with bacon, Easter salad, meat dishes, as well as various confectionery.

On Easter Day, Ukrainians go to church for the morning service, after which they gather with family and friends to celebrate the holiday together. On this day, it is also customary to exchange Easter eggs and wishes for well-being, health and prosperity.

In general, Easter in Ukraine is a real holiday of family warmth, spiritual connection and folk traditions. This holiday is always accompanied by a lot of joyful emotions and vivid impressions.
