id: 10046777

Easter is an ancient holiday, preparations for which begin long before it. Easter is preceded by Great Lent, lasting 40 days. This is the strictest post of the year, you can’t eat meat, fish, dairy products, you can’t swear, be offended or angry🕊🌿

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Each family can give its own answer to the question about preparing for the celebration of Easter. But there are a few Easter traditions that everyone follows.

For example, Maundy Thursday. On this day, Ukrainians do all the cooking and cleaning at home. They bake paska and make krashanki and pysanky🥚🪺 These are two types of eggs that Ukrainian women create only on Clean Thursday.

There is a game that children especially like to play with on Sunday mornings. When two hit eggs, and if the shell on one of them cracks, then that participant is out of the game and must eat the egg👧🏼👶🏼

An Easter egg is the perfect gift to express your gratitude and best wishes.
