Easter in Ukraine is celebrated in spring, when nature wakes up from its winter sleep. On this day everyone decorates their homes with brightly colored eggs and Easter compositions. Traditionally, Easter in Ukraine, people make Easter cakes and painted eggs.🌿

In addition, there is a special tradition in Ukraine - games with eggs. People take one egg at a time and beat each other with it. The one, whose egg is intact, wins and takes the egg of the defeated. This tradition symbolizes rebirth and rebirth.

Ukraine also has a tradition of going to church on Easter Day. People go there with painted eggs and bread to consecrate them and ask the priest for a blessing.
