Being an architect is a respectable, but at the same time very difficult occupation. I have been working as an architect for several years now, and I want to tell you about the difficulties that I have to overcome every day in my work.
The first thing that comes to mind when we talk about architecture is beautiful buildings and colorful plans. However, the work of an architect involves much more than just designing buildings. Firstly, in order to become an architect, you need to have not only creative skills, but also knowledge in mathematics, physics, and construction technologies.
In addition, the work of an architect is very responsible. Each project that we develop must meet not only the functional, but also the aesthetic requirements of the customer. We must also take into account possible changes, such as expansion or reduction of the area of the building, as well as other factors such as the environment, weather and climatic conditions.
One of the most difficult aspects of an architect's job is interacting with clients. Often clients have their own ideas about how a building should be, and this can lead to inconsistencies between architect and client. You need to be able to diplomatically resolve conflicts and take into account all the wishes of the client.
In addition, the work of an architect requires a lot of time and effort. All projects must be completed on time, and every detail must be thought out to the smallest detail. Because of this, architects often work overtime to meet deadlines.
But despite all these difficulties, I love my job as an architect. Seeing a project you've been working on come to life is a huge satisfaction. I believe that the difficulties we are facing are worth the effort put into our work and it all gives a great result.
