Time to go on vacation!

1. Spain. Sunny Spain is a great mid-season destination in Europe. The cities Barcelona and Madrid, of course, are a must. Don't miss a visit to the Alhambra fortress in Grande, Andalucía. Take a flamenco lesson or learn how to cook authentic Spanish food. If possible, combine your visit with one of the many Spanish festivals - La Tomatina, Tenerife Carnival or the famous Encierro or bull running.

2. Jordan. If you're looking for a slightly unusual vacation this year, consider Jordan. Jordan, one of the safest countries in the Middle East, is home to the incredibly lost city of Petra. Go to the lowest point on earth and swim in the Dead Sea, then experience the rugged landscape of the Wadi Rum Desert - parachute over desert canyons or stay in a Bedouin camp.

3. South Africa. This is another destination that should be on your list of suggestions. Cape Town has consistently made the list of top cities to visit. Kruger National Park rivals Kenya's Masai Mara for wildlife safaris. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Table Mountain or the dessert Kalahari. And South Africa's wine industry is good enough to give France and Italy a run for their money!

4. Greece. Despite the financial difficulties, Greece is still one of the top ten countries to visit. One must visit historic Athens and Delphi with their legendary ruins, as well as the magnificent islands of Santorini and Corfu. Or get away from the crowds by visiting some lesser-known islands such as Cythera and Kastelorizo. Indulge in sumptuous Mediterranean cuisine while contemplating a perfect sunset over the Aegean Sea.

5. Indonesia. Another country with many islands to explore is Indonesia. If you only have time to explore one island, let it be Bali. Explore Ubud, the cultural center of Bali or go to the sunrise to Mount Agung (the highest point on the island) or Mount Batur, which is an active volcano in a huge crater. You can also go to the beaches and watch dolphins in Lovina.

I really hope my article was helpful to you and I helped you decide on your vacation.
