So, according to a survey, 70% of Ukrainian men believe that a good wife should take care of the house and cook for the family, and in general, do most of the housework: washing and ironing clothes, washing dishes, cleaning the house, etc. Although the average time that women spend on housework is already almost twice the average time spent by men (29 hours versus 15 hours per week, respectively). It turned out that only 31% of the men surveyed help their wife to clean the house. 59% admitted that this is done exclusively by a woman.

But be that as it may, the results of a survey of men still confirm the existence of a gender distribution of household responsibilities. Those related to the purchase of products are divided equally in almost half of the cases. And the only category of household chores, which 90% of respondents recognized as purely masculine, was minor household repairs.

About 80% of survey respondents agreed that women can be just as skilled in their field as men and should receive equal wages. At the same time, 82% of respondents are convinced that there is a division into "female" and "male" professions in the labor market, and 40% of respondents agreed with the statement that men are better businessmen than women.
