I would never have believed that at 52 I could once again experience the exhilarating feeling of being on cloud nine. This feeling that we have, is the very first time that we fall in love. I am lucky to have met an extraordinary woman who is the most loving and endearing woman I have met in my life. I never would have thought that the woman with whom I feel myself and therefore the tastes and interests connect perfectly with mine (and this, in all aspects of life as a couple 😉) would live 5000km from Me. Now I no longer wonder why I registered on an international dating site, I know the answer and I like it.
But we must not hide that long-distance love brings its share of challenges that put our confidence to the test.
Some site practices sometimes seem to work against stable relationships, in short, some things could be redesigned or improved but, at the same time, it is an opportunity to see if we are with the right person. I also believe that persistence always pays off. I often said to myself that I was complicating my life for nothing and that nothing positive was going to result from this experience but to my great happiness I was wrong and I am happy about it. Soon we will finally be reunited physically and then, all I have to do is offer him to unite us before the Gods.
