You can't eat after 6:00 pm: truth or myth??

So when to have dinner? The answer to this question is strictly individual. It depends on your lifestyle, work schedule, and bedtime. The ideal time for dinner is 3-4 hours before bedtime (better to go to bed the same day you wake up) 💤💤💤

Have you ever tried to push the last bun into your mouth before the clock strikes six sharp? "Don't eat after 6:00 p.m." is another piece of advice that has nothing to do with reality.

If you go to bed at midnight, dinner can also be at 8:00 p.m. Later is better to eat nothing at all for several reasons:

1️⃣ "Nighttime gluttony" puts a strain on the digestive organs. Heavy food "lingers" in the stomach.

2️⃣ Eating dinner after 9 p.m. worsens the quality of sleep. Because of a full stomach, the body does not rest and does not recover well after a hard day. Everything eaten after 8:00 p.m. settles in extra centimeters on your stomach and hips.

3️⃣ Snacking at night makes it difficult to lose weight! Fat burning processes are most active during sleep. This is due to the synthesis of certain hormones and substances. For example, the hormone somatotropin is synthesized during a very short period of time - from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. (that is why it is so important to sleep during this time). It is this hormone that helps us reduce the amount of fat layer and works on the growth of muscle tissue.

Also, you should remember that the necessary conditions for the synthesis of somatotropin are timely going to bed, low levels of insulin in the afternoon and a protein meal for dinner.
