Let's see what experience, knowledge, education and skills are needed in the modern realities of the labor market, depending on the level of positions.

Starting link
This is the most massive category, it includes call center employees, sales assistants, drivers, workers engaged in physical labor, etc. Even before the 2008 crisis, there were no special requirements for this category of workers. In most cases, it was enough to have suitable personal qualities and a desire to work. Today, this is no longer enough. You need to have a similar experience, be motivated to work in a particular company. The candidate must think independently and be able to make decisions, and not just follow instructions, be proactive. The employer wants to see in the candidate an understanding of why he goes to this organization, how much, what he wants to achieve. A sense of responsibility will be valued at all times.

"White collars"
So called employees of offices, managers, middle managers. The requirements for this category of specialists have become much tougher. Now you need specialized education, not just work experience, but the presence of successful work experience in this area, achievements are important. Employers are no longer so willing to invest in young professionals and take on their training.

But I just applied for the position of a middle manager, here the experience of managing people will be simply necessary, as well as the skills of strategic and tactical planning. But I managed. I learned this business very quickly.

Increasingly, knowledge of foreign languages is required.

Generally
reminds that appearance is also important for any level of employees: neatness in clothes, good speech, friendly attitude.

I paid attention to recommendations from previous places of work or study. I was willing to provide the names of former leaders, partners, study group facilitators who gave feedback on my previous work.

The ability to present yourself in a favorable light also affects the decision of the employer.

There are no perfect people, but employers are increasingly setting rigid limits, so I need to strive to be better than others. The labor market is a complex mechanism, but there are always opportunities. I started my job search by evaluating myself, I determined what needed to be improved, what I might lack, where to start. It is difficult, but you need to strive, and there will be more opportunities.
