compromise or sacrifice?

In most cases, people do this because they want to keep their partner at any cost and are willing to kiss their feet just to maintain the relationship. However, no one stops to think that if you constantly give in to your partner, they will start using you according to their own desires and make you convenient for themselves. This may continue for some time, longer for some, shorter for others. But in the end, your submissiveness will start to annoy them, and they will leave for someone who has their own opinions and personal space. But how will you feel in the process? You will lose the person you gave up your own self for, and find yourself in a dependent relationship. It will not only be painful for you, but the whole world may seem like an impenetrable night because all this time, you were living someone else's life.

The syndrome of living someone else's life deprives you of joy and pleasure in life, and after a breakup, you will feel uncertain about your desires and needs.

Of course, not everyone experiences it in the same way. Some find pleasure in such relationships. It brings them joy to yield to their loved one in everything. They find meaning in it.

Humans are social, but they also have their own needs and desires. On one hand, when partners love each other, they make compromises. However, often such compromises mean losing or surrendering. If desires and needs don't align in a relationship, it can lead to conflict or confrontation.

"Is there a limit to compromise?" you might ask. Yes, there is. When your partner gets used to you being convenient and starts imposing their own values on you, limiting your freedom, determining what you should wear, how you should style your hair, and when they wipe their feet with your opinions and desires.

Compromise is not about giving up your own interests and fully accepting the other person's side. It is, above all, about finding common ground that both of you agree on. Only then can you build harmonious relationships because both partners will feel satisfied.
