I have a photo from CCTV cameras at the entrance of a man taking my bike out into the street. Despite this, within a month after the incident, the investigator did not contact me, and when I got to him on my own, it turned out that he was seeing my case for the first time.
Residents of a neighboring house also identified the robbers, they were poking bikes there.

These people were repeatedly caught and sent to the police. They were released there.
As a result, one day they were simply swept away, well, they disappeared, and then they moved to our house.

In order to have any evidence, you need to have documents for equipment, and especially for photographic equipment. My documents got lost when my travel agency office moved because the equipment was mostly working and not my own. I only had documents for a MacBook in my hands, but they did not help in the search.

On sites like OLX and various “flea markets” on the Internet, a 400 mm lens was put up for sale several times at a ridiculous price, and no one took it, since the optics are very specific. But without documents, I could have taken it away only through a showdown in the style of the 90s. Because the police just shrugged.


I have a suspicion that the delivery service gave a tip: there were about five deliveries in a month. The faces in the video are very similar to those who brought me a refrigerator.
I realized that for the future I need to play it safe: to have somewhere in the mail a photo of all documents with serial numbers. But, again, our valiant police will not look for all this - something will work out if you find it yourself, come, call the police to the place and show all the documents for this equipment.

I no longer walk around the house with a camera - once again I try not to shine that I am the owner of a travel agency .... and I need special equipment for taking pictures.
