One of the most beautiful traditions that I have had the opportunity to participate in is the "holiday" or Holy Evening, which is celebrated on Christmas Eve. On this evening, the family gathers at the table and conducts a series of rituals and religious chants. A very impressive moment is the moment of cutting "kutії" - a special holiday cake. By sharing this Easter cake, the family wishes each other joy and success in the new year.

Ukrainians are also very proud of their embroidered shirts, which they consider to be symbols of national dignity and culture. In my family, they not only wear embroidered shirts on special holidays, but also regularly create them with their own hands. I had the opportunity to take part in one of these "visiting evenings", where we created patterns and weaved beautiful straps for embroidered shirts. It was not only a creative process, but also a way to strengthen family relationships and preserve the heritage of ancestors.

In Ukrainian culture it is also very important to spend time in nature. My family loves country walks, family trips to the forest, picnics and fairs. One of the most interesting holidays that we observe is Maslyana. On this day, we cook pancakes with various fillings, drink hot drinks and have fun in the winter air.
