Blog
Hello everyone, my name is Olesya and this is my blog about my childhood in the 80s and early 90s.

Now children from a very early age, almost from the cradle, have the skills to use gadgets, and by school age they have their own tablets and phones. And this, of course, is a headache for current parents. In our childhood, it was a blessing to have Tamagotchi and Tetris, and to be the owner of Dandy is just a dream! As a result, children used to communicate with each other more often and there were fewer scoliosis and vision problems. But, according to my observation, in my childhood, without having such an abundance of entertainment as now, we often watched cartoons on TV. My children very rarely watch TV, perhaps because we, as parents, simply do not use it now.

Now parents do not need to rack their brains over holding any children's event, it is enough to order a turnkey service. Animators, balls, treats and a theme party - any whim for our money. But parents will also need to pay a considerable amount. In our childhood, everything was much more modest, but done with soul. The whole family took part in the preparations for the holiday, which undoubtedly unites the family members.

We did not have the opportunity to order ready-made food for the celebration, including fast food, but our mother or grandmother put their soul into preparing the festive table. It turned out delicious at home. I remember when I went to a friend's birthday party, her grandfather came up with various contests and games for the guests. It was very fun and interesting, despite the fact that we did not even know the word "animator".

Now children walk on the street less. No, they also often communicate with their peers, but only in chats and play more often not on the street, but on the net. As a child, it was impossible to drive us home, they played and walked in large groups. Whatever we did! They built huts at the dacha, I remember, they even found a bed with a shell net somewhere on the street and dragged it into a hut. We played in a store where we paid with lilac leaves, dodgeball, pioneer ball, catch-up ... Live communication, of course, is much better.

The book is a man's friend. But, unfortunately, now children rarely read books with great pleasure, moreover, e-books have replaced printed editions. During our childhood, we could hold a book in our hands, feel the full power of the work, and after reading the book from cover to cover, close it and think a little about the ending.

Of course, in the 90s, parents should have been vigilant when they let their children go for walks, but even now it is dangerous to send children alone, even to the store. The statistics are sad, and children go missing. Therefore, we used to have more freedom, and walks in the yard are safer compared to today.

We, the children of the 90s and 80s, are used to being content with little. Our toys were much more modest, I did not find the trip with the whole class to pick potatoes, but, according to the stories, these were fun times. Be that as it may, now we are doing everything to make the childhood of our children the happiest and best. We just have the opportunity to compare it with our own.
