A wedding in Ukraine is a bright and cheerful event that combines ancient traditions and modern customs. One of the wonderful traditions is "crowning", when newlyweds exchange rings and are married in front of God in church. This symbolizes their commitment and loyalty to each other.

Also a popular tradition is the "rushnik", an embroidered towel that the newlyweds hold over their heads during the wedding ceremony. The rushnik symbolizes unity and harmony in the new family.

In Ukraine, family plays a huge role in people's lives. Family dinners and evenings with relatives are commonplace. Ukrainians respect older family members and strive to maintain family ties.

An important part of the family order is the care of children and grandchildren. Grandparents often take an active part in the upbringing of the little ones and share their life lessons and traditions with them.

Ukrainian culture and traditions reflect a deep respect for family and close relationships. This makes Ukraine a unique and beautiful country with a rich cultural heritage.
