Years ago when I was married my former wife was going through this stage with her hair.
Long, short, medium, straight , curly, or just wavy . I was going crazy listening to her indecision.
So I didn't tell her but I called around found a salon that took a photo of her. Placed her photo on the computer screen. Then through technology removed her hair on screen. I teased her about being bald on screen. She gave me this look only a woman can give a man. When they are no pleased.
So being the clever man I am I let the stylist show her many examples how she would look on the computer screen in different lengths, styles, and colors.
I wasn't impressed at all with their choices. So I asked while they were looking at colored hair samples. Talking about texture and everything else. I got to play with it.
So I went and changed everything from one extreme to the next starting with long hair. Then going through every crazy color. From neon on green to bright orange, to yellow, blue you name it.
I looked at my former wife's skin tone. And could easily see what colors didn't go well. And what did. From their i shorten and changed curly to straight then wavy.
After all I thought
1. I'm going to look at her.
2. Listen to her complain if she didn't.
3. Have a friend or relative tell her yes or no to her choice.
4. Deal with the drama of it.
5. Pay a lot more to get it changed or fixed or recolored.
6. Then listen to her why I didn't speak up if it didn't look good on her.
I was stuck in a no win zone of am I getting fat ? Or does this look good on me trap. So I knew I had to be focused on this task and rather quickly. Before something was done to her hair.
So after finally finding the color that made her skin tone stand out perfectly.
I went to length. Then to styles .
After I was finished I asked my former wife come over and see what she thought of what I chose for her.
The stylist was in shock that I did this on my own. My former wife came over looked at the picture on the screen.
Was completely in shock with what I picked out. The stylist said I'd never would've suggest that. Both of them agreed it was the perfect choice.
Problem solved !!! My former wife loved it so did the stylist.
My former wife compared photos of herself from the past and couldn't believed she looked so much better.
My former wife is Slavic !
The color I chose was a strawberry blonde type of color that was half way between blond and brunette. With a reddish tint to it.
Now this isn't perfect for every Slavic woman. Because my former wife had pale skin. So by adding the reddish color it made her face appear less pale.
So my lesson for you ladies is to choose the color of your hair based off skin tone. Then bone structure as well. Will truly define your face. If you have a wider jaw or a narrow one. You can do this at home with photo shop now. And invite some friends over and have them help you choose.
Never choose a hair color based on what you believe a man might desire. Base your hair color on what you feel you look the best in.
Because you will be far happier with yourself.
And the number #1 thing men want is ?
A HAPPY WOMAN !!!!
Because a happy woman takes better care of her man. Than a unhappy woman!
Another thing my guy friends and I myself notice first is healthy clean hair.
A woman's crown is her hair!
We also noticed a woman who takes care of her hair. Takes care of herself and everything and everyone around her.
BECAUSE SHE IS HAPPIER WITH HER SELF!
So guys let your woman keep her hair up. It can be a little expensive at times. But it's so well worth it in the end. The rewards are priceless !!!!
