Today is an important and special day for all who believe in the peace and well-being of children around the world. This day celebrates the role of UNICEF in protecting children's rights, supporting their health, education and well-being. And I am extremely proud to be the UNICEF Representative in Ukraine, a country where so much needs to be done to support children, especially in a changing situation.

This holiday is not only an occasion to celebrate UNICEF's achievements in improving the lives of millions of children around the world, but also a chance to emphasize the importance of the solidarity and support we can provide to children in our country. There is potential in every child, and each of us, regardless of our profession or status, can contribute to their future.

In Ukraine, we face challenges that affect children - from ensuring access to education to protecting them from the impact of conflict. But I believe that by working together we can achieve more. Every step, every support is an opportunity to create a brighter future for children by ensuring they are knowledgeable, healthy and safe.

This day reminds us that every child deserves equal opportunity and support in their development. May our work and our commitment to benefit these children be constant and unrelenting.
