Not falling off a horse is a skill you need to have!

When I decided to try horse riding, I didn't expect it to be a real adventure. Here is the story of how I almost washed away the pride of the entire equestrian world with my awkward “horse” exit.

The first few minutes on the horse I felt like a real knight. But suddenly, when the horse decided to take a quick walk, I was completely unprepared for such speed. The tremors began abruptly, and I realized that I was losing my balance. The horse, being much more experienced in this matter, clearly did not understand that its new “rider” was about to fall.

An inner voice shouted: “Hold on, hold on!”, but my awkward attempts to stay on the saddle were more like balancing on a swing. At one of the turns, I almost flew into the air, feeling that I was losing stability. Everything around me froze at that moment - the horse was scared, I was in complete shock, and the instructor nearby was holding on to the animal and pulling the reins.

As a result, I grabbed onto everything I could and eventually regained my balance. The horse seemed to be just testing how serious I was about riding and was able to surprise me with his professionalism - probably trying to find out if I was worthy of being his rider.

After this little adventure, I realized that horse riding is not only about grace and beauty, but also a considerable amount of training and skill. And now, when I remember this incident, laughter overwhelms me, because it was a true “equestrian moment” that I will never forget.
