New Year is a time of fun, meetings with loved ones and, of course, treats on the festive table. However, when the holidays are over, there remains a feeling of heaviness and a desire to return to a healthier diet. In this post, I'll share some tips on how to easily and deliciously recover from New Year's feasts, as well as present a recipe for an easy and nutritious meal.

One of the keys to recovery from holiday revelry is water. Forget about sugary carbonated drinks and prefer pure water. Green tea and fresh juices will also help you cleanse your body and restore hydration.

After the banquets, it's time to return to moderate portions. Avoid overeating and sugary treats. Breaking your meals into small portions will help you control your appetite and make it easier to digest.

3. Vegetable Integration:
Get back to basics - integrate more vegetables into your diet. Fresh vegetable salads, roasted vegetables and soups are excellent choices. Vegetables are rich in vitamins and nutrients that will support your body.

4. Recipe: Easy Chicken Soup with Vegetables:
Ingredients:

300 g chicken fillet, cut into cubes
1 liter chicken broth
1 large carrot, cut into rings
1 onion, finely chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup broccoli, divided into small florets
Salt, pepper, herbs to taste
Preparation:

In a saucepan, heat chicken broth to a boil.
Add chicken, carrots, onion and celery.
Cook over medium heat until vegetables and chicken are cooked through.
Add broccoli and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with fresh greens.
Serve hot.
This soup not only restores, but also strengthens your body thanks to the many beneficial substances in the vegetables and broth. It is ideal for lunch or dinner after festive gastronomic delights.

I wish you ease and joy in this new year! Share your ways to recover after the holidays in the comments.

With love for a healthy lifestyle,
Ilona😘
