The festivities began with preparations. Early in the morning, people started cooking traditional Christmas dishes. The aroma of dumplings with potatoes, the scent of kutia, and fried cabbage rolls filled the entire space, giving the house a special charm. 🍲🥟

Food preparation wasn't only the responsibility of women. Husbands adorned a massive Christmas tree, which they decorated with Christmas ornaments and bright lights as a family. Each ornament had its own story, and they shared it by placing them on the branches of the tree. 🎄🌟

Dinnertime arrived, and the family gathered around the festively decorated table. All relatives and close ones took their seats, awaiting the beginning of the feast. Dinner started with a collective prayer, during which ancient carols resonated.
