You don’t have to worry - I will help you, introduce you to the process itself, and tell you how to prepare so that the perfect sketch appears on your body. You need to scroll through what I wrote in your head and accept in your subconscious that if you are going to get a tattoo, then nothing should stop you!
Preparation...
Come to the studio rested and full of strength and energy, because a session can last several hours. You must be in a good mood (after all, you are going to fulfill your dream, right?) Before the session, you should definitely have a snack so that you and your master are not bothered by the “howls” in your stomach 🙂 and God forbid the loss of your consciousness. Also take care of a bottle of water with you 😉
A few days before visiting the tattoo parlor, I do not recommend drinking alcohol or taking medications that can irritate your skin. Also, before visiting a tattoo parlor, I recommend not going to a solarium so as not to spoil your ideal.
Choose a tattoo parlor. Read reviews, look at work, chat with friends who have already visited the salon you like. This is the most important stage. Your ideal should be applied to you by a professional!
When you came to the salon...
Present your prepared project to the master. Make sure with the master that the provided sketch can be implemented 100%. If the master has any questions about your sketch, it is better to listen to him. Enter, if necessary, adjustments to your sketch indicated by the master. When the sketch is ready, decide on the size and location of application. “Try on” your sketch on a selected area of your body. If you are satisfied with everything, then tell the master that it’s time to start 🙂
Be sure to pay attention to the master’s preparation for the procedure. I think you shouldn’t say that instruments should be disposable, sterile, etc. ? Pay attention to the couch where you will be located. I think it will be more pleasant to sit or lie on disposable individual “bedding”. The technician must wear disposable gloves, which are unpacked in front of you. If gloves are damaged in any way, they must be changed! By the way, don’t forget about your master’s medical certificate.
You're probably wondering, does a tattoo hurt? This depends primarily on your individual predisposition to pain, as well as on the location of the tattoo.
Yes, and I’ll warn you right away that there may be, and even more likely, will be a little blood 🙂
How long does the session last?
If your tattoo is small, the artist will most likely do it all at once. Larger jobs, such as sleeves, require several sessions separated by two-week breaks. So be patient if you are thinking about stuffing your whole body.
After the procedure, the tattoo artist should apply a bandage to your tattoo and also give you instructions on how to care for it. It will be best if it is a reminder, visual and informative!
Good luck to you, finally accomplish your plans. Discover this amazing world. And remember, once you decide to get a tattoo, you risk not stopping in the future 😉
Thank you all for your attention...with respect, Yana
