Winter or summer?
id: 10052869

Dear

It's winter, and as always, it's not to my liking. I can't wait for summer, when the cold winds and viruses will no longer threaten my health. Winter illnesses have become a real problem for me, and every time the flu or cold catches me, I feel completely helpless.

This winter I got sick again, and it was especially hard. I remembered an interesting story that I want to share with you. In 2020, when I got over the flu, I decided to take advantage of that time to watch movies and read books. And one evening I happened to come across a documentary about how animals adapt to harsh climates.

One example that particularly impressed me was about emperor penguins. These amazing creatures live in Antarctica, where temperatures drop to -60 degrees Celsius. They endure incomparably colder and harsher times than I do, their struggle to survive is truly impressive. They gather in large groups to keep warm, and the males carry their eggs on their backs to protect them from the cold. This story made me think about my own vulnerability to winter illnesses and inspired me to try to be more mindful of my own health.

So I look forward to the arrival of summer to avoid illness and enjoy bright sunny days.
