Language barrier: One of the biggest obstacles on my way to getting to know a new country is the language barrier. Although I speak English, it is still not my native language, which can create difficulties in communication.
Culture shock: Another difficulty I encountered was related to culture shock. This was especially noticeable when I tried to get to know people who had lived in the country for a long time. They may have different values, customs and traditions that may not be clear to me.
Insecurity: Another problem I've found is related to my self-doubt. When I try to approach someone and get to know them, I often feel awkward and shy, which prevents me from communicating with people.Different interests: Sometimes, even if I get to know someone, our interests can be completely different. This can lead to the fact that we cannot find common topics for conversation, and our communication becomes boring and difficult.
Despite all the difficulties, I do not give up and continue to look for new acquaintances, as I understand that this is part of the adaptation process. It is important to remember that every person is unique, and in any case, there will be someone who shares your interests and values. The main thing is not to be afraid to take the first step and open up to new acquaintances!
