Congratulations to all Ukrainian Veterans, both men and women; and to all from other places in the Former Soviet Union. Many of you celebrate this day as Men's Day, regardless of military service or lack thereof.

American men find such a concept as strange, but pleasantly different. Ladies, please understand that we are only used to receiving any type of positive notice on either Veteran's Day or Father's day. Many do not qualify for notice on either day if not a veteran or a Dad.))) Thank you for your congratulations and warm wishes.

Some of you ladies have asked me advice as far as appropriate gifts for the men in your lives. The secret to great gifts for a lot of men is giving him something that he likes or enjoys...for most guys this will not be socks or a tie.))) Extra points if you are able to give your man something either he would not buy for himself or something he has not mentioned to you. Yes, we like that you pay attention to us.))) Most guys are simple. Most of us do not want anything extravagant or complicated. We want you. Thank you for making our lives better each and every day.
