When read some article related to this I was very surprised that apparently intelligent men could be so misinformed. The time frame is about 1860-1880’s. The location is America and England. I have no information about the social attitudes in Ukraine and Russia. The prevalent social attitude was that the only reason women had sex was to satisfy their husband or boyfriend and have children. The results was extreme sexual frustration by women on a massive scale. The term used to describe this condition was “Hysteria”. When the term was created it was not known or accepted that this was the cause. When it was accepted that this was the cause the term was immediately dropped.
This led to some very strange social developments that in retrospect are comical but at the time was very serious stuff. Doctors found that they could cure women of their hysteria by in effect giving masturbate them with their hands so they would have their orgasm and leave the doctor’s office a satisfied customer. Word spread and doctors were flooded with more women that they could be expected to personally satisfy. Before the invention of electricity a stream of water was used. So when you see porn showing a woman getting herself an orgasm using a stream of water you now know this technique predates the invention of electricity. About this time electricity was being developed. So an enterprising English doctor, Dr. Joseph Mortimer Granville, could serve more women without getting hand cramps he invented the vibrator. This happened in 1880 and happen before the invention of other electrical devices like electric fan, tea kettle, and sewing machine. So now you know the electrical vibrator you may use for your personal pleasure was invented not for your use but for the use of doctors.
Now it is obvious and commonly accepted that women like sex and have a sex drive. As a woman, you are free and have been liberated.
As a personal note I am sorry I was not alive then to personally solve their problem. Image how many extremely attractive women would have been available to a liberated man during this period.
