Where does the time go? what do you spend your energy, time and life on?

Where is the time and where does it go? Typically, people most often ask themselves such questions in retirement or when they notice wrinkles appearing on their face or telltale gray hair. We no longer seem young, but rather old, even if by human standards we are at an ordinary mature age. But in any case, a worm inside us begins to gnaw at us with questions about where we “spent” it, or, more roughly, we are “losing” our time.
What does a typical day look like for the average person? Morning rise, breakfast, road, work/study, road, home, dinner, some small things, sleep and a new circle the next day. These are weekdays, and on weekends we often just catch up on sleep, household chores, shopping, some kind of fuss and a little rest. How much of all this time do we spend on something pleasant and interesting? Few. Rather, we move automatically, like a driven horse, running in circles every day until it falls exhausted. At such moments, I want to ask myself: what are we spending our energy, time and life on?
We dream all the time about the future or the past. As a child, we dreamed of going to school, at school we dreamed of going to university, at university we dreamed of going to work, but at work we dream about what? Go back to childhood again? But this is impossible. About weekends, vacations or even retirement? If we are just waiting for this, then is this life? If you hate 5 weekdays a week, and only look forward to the weekend, then this speaks more of an unhappy life than a fulfilling one. Also, dreams of a vacation or retirement suggest the same thing.
How to catch time and save lives? Perhaps the most important thing is to ask yourself the question of what you want to get from life. Where are you in this bustle? After all, we seem to feel dissolved in this everyday life, losing ourselves and our personality. What are you dreaming about? It is clear that you cannot quit your job, be lazy or lie by the pool in a villa. How can you find yourself in reality, where you have to earn money, take care of your family and manage your daily life? In retirement, we will regret that we did not quit the job we hated and try ourselves somewhere else. In retirement, we will regret that we overworked ourselves, worried too much, spent little time with loved ones and even less rest. But why not try to change your life so that you spend your time in something more valuable than now? Do something important for yourself, try something new, get a job somewhere else, start paying more attention to your life.
