Philosophy of interpersonal relationships and repulsion: a look at authenticity and moral principles
id: 10055158

In philosophy, we often turn to issues that can seem complex and intriguing. Being repulsed by other people is a topic that brings its share of mystery to our understanding of interpersonal relationships. As we reflect on it, we can see that certain aspects of human behavior and interaction can elicit repulsive feelings and reactions in us.

Let me present a few of my thoughts that can look at this phenomenon through a philosophical lens:

Authenticity and sincerity: Philosophy values sincerity and authenticity in relationships. When a person appears insincere or plays a role, it can cause repulsion as we seek genuine and deep connections.

Fairness and Ethics: Philosophers pay attention to what values and principles underlie our relationships with others. Injustice, selfishness, or cruelty can alienate us because they violate our moral foundations.

Mutual respect and interaction: An important aspect of the philosophy is respect for the dignity of each person. When interactions with others do not reflect this respect or when it is violated, it can cause repulsion.

Understanding and empathy: Philosophy emphasizes the importance of understanding and empathy for others. Lack of these qualities can lead to misunderstanding and distance in relationships.

I think the philosophy is very subtle. It's not something everyone can understand. Do you think you are at an age where you can understand the subtlety of philosophy?
