Passover in Judaism
The origins of Passover can be found in the Jewish holiday of Passover, which commemorates the exodus of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. Passover is an eight-day holiday that begins on the full moon of the first month of spring (Nisan). According to the Bible, this holiday was established in honor of the fact that God led the Israelite people out of Egypt and gave them freedom. Easter in Christianity
