A lot of ladies have mentioned our weather in Oklahoma. Yes we do have tornados but they are nothing to be afraid of. In fact, during a tornado warning, my favorite thing to do is go out in my yard and watch the skies. The clouds are all tumbling, full of air and it can be beautiful to see. My father was smart is his land choice. A giant hill to the west seems to have kept the two tornados that I have witnessed in person up in the sky until they pass our location. During on, my chicken coop got taken apart and I found chickens in two of my neighbors back yards, lol. They got free rides over the fence! It did not hurt them of course but I am sure it surprised them to be transported as they were. So the threat always remains but to me, it's just a way of life. The weather here is beautiful year round, today is 80F and sunny, warm. Time to hit the lakes nearby. I love the outdoors here and the giant park in my city of Tulsa is the most beautiful park in the world. It got voted "Best Park In America" even! It is called "The Gathering Place", look it up!
