Compromise

Privet Everyone,

Happy Easter to all those who celebrate the holiday!))) The blogs posted by you ladies are a favorite of mine. Thank You! I read each and every word.

I have been thinking about the concept of compromise in a relationship. My thoughts are that a happy marriage must have compromise as a component. I like to think of it as a Ruby Tuesday approach to relations. RT is a favorite restaurant/cafe here in my part of Virginia. It has a little something for everyone; salads, pastas, fish, beef, ribs and hamburgers.))) I am partial to the burgers.)))

Variety is good in a relationship. Things that are the same all of the time create boredom for a man like me...even when things are perfect. Perfection is boring as it is always the same.

Sometimes, I am asked some strange questions by the ladies. If your man loves you, he will love your child or children. If a man loves you it does not matter how short or tall you are, it does not matter what color your hair might be. Yes, we know that women like to change their appearance; we might adore blondes, but you could become brunette or a redhead next week... Tattoos and piercings are personal decisions, as is any sort of cosmetic surgery. Any woman, with the right man is a beauty and a treasure.

If your man is not shallow, your hair color does not matter, so long as you are happy. It does not matter if you want to work or continue your schooling (family finances aside) so long as you are happy. A wise man does all he can to ensure that his wife is happy. A wise man supports and encourages his woman. My experience is that a happy wife makes for a happy home. Turnabout is fair play. A little belief, respect, support and love goes a long, long way with most men.)))
