Firstly my lady, you are absolutely correct in saying a man will never see a child as an obstacle to his future with a wonderful woman. A child is a very happy part of any loving relationship. I would like to submit my thoughts as to why some men may be a little reluctant to enter a relationship with a woman with a child.

Please bear in mind these are just possible reasons and are not in any way meant to be read as justifications for these men.

1.) Having a child changes the whole visa process for a lady to move to him in the future.
2.) The father of this child may not allow the lady to remove his child from her country.
3.) A man may not feel he is able to raise a child well enough and be a good father if he has never had children.
4.) A man may be afraid the child will not accept him as his new father.
5.) A man may be afraid of the uncertainties of having to raise this child.
6.) A man may not have the ability to visit a lady and her child in her country and understands it may be even more difficult for her to come to him.

I realize these are obstacles in which a man and a lady can work out in their correspondence together. The fact still remains that no amount of communication will ever replace the actual meeting with a lady and her child. Then seeing if the possibility of a future together is realistic.
Relations with a woman with a child are never easy at a distance and it takes two very understanding and willing people to make any future they may have a reality. Patience and time are vital to ensuring these obstacles will not hinder their future plans.
A man and a woman with a child can build a very strong future once the uncertainty of these obstacles is overcome. As you said in your post, a woman with a child is not going to jeopardize a future with a man who is ready to accept her and her child into his life. All it takes is for the man to become very relaxed and at ease with the knowledge both of you are going to be in his life for a very long time.
