One sunny Tuesday, Nastya was reviewing her schedule when my assistant Lisa entered the room. “Dr. Martinez, your next patient is here. His name is Jack Thompson. He is a new patient."

Nastya looked at the name and felt excitement. She didn't know why, but she had a feeling that this meeting would be different. She went into the office and froze. A tall, handsome man with piercing blue eyes and a warm smile sat in the chair.

“Hello, Mr. Thompson. I'm Dr. Martinez,” she said, trying to maintain her professional composure.

“Hello Dr. Martinez. Please call me Jack,” he replied in a deep and smooth voice.

Nastya began the examination, and they casually chatted. She learned that Jack was new to the city, having moved to work in marketing. He was charming, funny, and seemed genuinely interested in her life as well. They joked and laughed as she worked on his teeth, and Nastya found herself enjoying his company more than she had expected.

"Done, Jack," she said after the usual cleaning was done. "Your teeth are in excellent condition. Just keep brushing and flossing regularly.”

“Thank you Dr. Martinez. It was the best dental visit I've ever had,” Jack smiled.

Nastya blushed slightly. "I'm glad to hear that."

As Jack got up to leave, he hesitated for a moment. “You know, I was wondering if you wanted to get some coffee? I know a great little cafe nearby.'

Nastya's heart sank. She had never combined her professional and personal life before, but there was something about Jack that made her want to take a chance.

"I'd like that," she said, smiling.

Jack was beaming. "Great! How about tomorrow afternoon?"

"Tomorrow suits me," answered Nastya, feeling excited.

The next day they met in a cafe and talked for hours. They discovered that they had a lot in common, from a love of travel to a shared passion for helping others. As the weeks went by, their coffee dates turned into dinners, and the dinners turned into weekends spent exploring the city together.

Nastya could not believe how her life had changed after that one visit to the dentist. Jack was not only incredibly attractive, but also kind and thoughtful. They supported each other's dreams and became closer every day.

One evening, when they were sitting on a park bench and watching the sunset, Jack turned to Nastya and took her hand. "You know, if it wasn't for the dentist visit, I never would have found you," he said quietly.
