I started with the crisp apples, cutting them into slices and cubes. I then mixed them with cinnamon, sugar and a little nutmeg. The whole kitchen smelled like heaven! Rolling out the dough was not easy, but I managed to make it just perfect. When I finally put the pie in the oven, the anticipation was unbearable.
