Hello!πŸŒΉπŸŒΉπŸŒΉπŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹
Today I had the most wonderful day - I visited my grandmother in the village and helped her pick raspberries for the winter. It was such a fun and rewarding experience and I just had to share it with you!
When I arrived, my grandmother greeted me with warm hugs and that sparkle in her eyes that always makes me smile. We headed straight into the garden, and lo and behold, the raspberry bushes were bursting with ripe, juicy berries! The air was filled with the sweet scent of raspberries and I couldn't wait to dive in.πŸ˜ŒπŸ€—πŸ˜‡
We spent the whole day picking berries, chatting and laughing. Grandma has the best stories about her youth and she always has wisdom to share. We talked about everything from her childhood adventures to my latest college antics. She even gave me some gardening tips that will definitely come in handy for my little balcony garden at home.πŸŒΊπŸ’–πŸ˜˜
The best part was when we took a break and had a little picnic right here in the garden. Grandma took homemade cakes and lemonade with her. We sat in the shade of a big old tree, munched on some goodies and enjoyed the beautiful views of the countryside. It was pure bliss!
After filling the baskets with raspberries, we returned to the kitchen to begin the process of making jam. Grandma showed me her secret recipe and we spent hours stirring, tasting and chatting. The whole kitchen smelled like heaven, and the jam turned out perfect - sweet and slightly tart, just the way I like it.😍
By the time we finished, we already had a whole supply of raspberry jam ready for the winter. It was so nice to see all those cans lined up knowing we made them together. The day spent with my grandmother reminded me of the simple joys of life and the importance of family traditions.πŸ’–πŸŒΊ
