Today I want to discuss one interesting pattern that I noticed. The point is that it is precisely those girls who have clearly undergone plastic surgery or resorted to other cosmetic interventions who often claim that they are not “plastic dolls” and write about this even in their profiles. Have you noticed this too?
Personal experience and observations
Like many of you, I spend a lot of time on profiles, carefully researching who to write to, observing people and their profiles. I've always wondered why girls who clearly have their lips, breasts, or other parts of their body done are so vocal about claiming that they are "natural" and that plastic surgery doesn't affect them.
A couple of months ago I talked to one of these girls. She proudly said that she was “natural” and “not plastic”, although her bright pouty lips and clearly artificial body shapes said otherwise. This got me thinking: why is this happening?
Why is this happening?
1. Protection from criticism
One reason may be protection from criticism. Society is quite cruel to those who decide to undergo plastic surgery, especially to women. Thus, girls try to anticipate negative comments by claiming that they are “not plastic dolls.”
2. Psychological comfort
Perhaps girls who have undergone surgery do not fully accept their new body. Openly expressing your naturalness can be a way to affirm your beauty and feel better about yourself.
3. Social stereotypes
There is a certain stereotype that “plastic dolls” are something bad and unreal. Girls who actively declare their naturalness try to distance themselves from this negative image.
Conclusion
It always inspires me to see the diversity of people and how they express themselves. However, it is important to remember that each of us is unique and should not judge a person by his appearance or statements. We all have the right to express ourselves, and sometimes what we say says more about our inner feelings than about reality.
Let's be kinder to each other and criticize less about our appearance or the choices we make. Because in the end, what matters most is how we feel and how we treat others.
Man, do you like dolls?
