The Fairy loved to walk in the forest. She considered it her home, and she did not always want to return to the castle, although it was located deep in the forest and the forest was all around.
She listened to the birds and watched everything that was happening around: all the inhabitants of the forest. Nothing escaped her attention, but she tried not to interfere with the life of the forest, and even if she thought that sometimes the Forest needed her help, this did not happen often. The forest lived its own life.
Among the inhabitants of the forest were the Fairy's favorite plants, birds, animals and fairy-tale creatures.
She endowed them all with good features and qualities, tried to see Goodness and Beauty in everything.
With her, Baba Yaga, and Leshy, and Vodyanoy, and Kikimoras, and gnomes, and everyone else were kind.
Were they different when she was not around, she certainly did not know, although she knew that all children sometimes misbehave, especially when no one sees it.
The Fairy knew this, but she still believed in all the good that was or should be in them. She thought so because she herself was kind and loved the world around her.
However, there is always some kind of secret in the hidden. The Fairy carefully kept everything she knew and all the secrets of the Forest.
And the Fairy loved to watch the forest, and as the mistress of the Forest, she kept and saved her observations in a magic chest, which was usually locked, closed from everyone, since it would be impossible to keep the contents in it otherwise.
Sometimes they flew out from there like birds or butterflies or dragonflies and scattered in all directions. The Fairy did not get angry, she became cheerful from this. She burst into laughter, as if a silver bell was pouring out everywhere in the forest. From this laughter everything around began to sparkle, and a bright rainbow appeared over the forest.
