How to lose weight the right way: the story of a difficult, yet fun struggle with extra pounds
id: 10055543

Today I want to share with you my story about how I decided to lose weight and what came of it. If you've ever tried to lose weight, you probably understand how difficult it is. But if you approach the matter with humor and ease, you can have much more fun!
The Beginning
It all started when I decided: "That's it, I'm going on a diet from Monday!" A typical phrase, isn't it? And before Monday, of course, I ate everything that came to hand: from chocolate cakes to pasta with cheese. Well, how else? I need to "eat my fill before the end"
And then that very Monday comes. I wake up full of determination. I set myself a goal - to lose 5 kilograms in a month. And what do I do first? Of course, I throw out all the goodies from the fridge and buy healthy food: broccoli, chicken, kefir... Oh, how proud I was of myself!
Day one
Breakfast - oatmeal with water. I smile, as if I had already lost those 5 kilograms. Lunch - cucumber and tomato salad. I understand that greens are not my favorite color in food. But I endure it. In the evening, I cook myself a chicken breast and another salad. And then the thought begins to visit me: "Is it worth it?"
Day three
On the third day, my body begins to rebel. My hand is reaching for the cookies that accidentally ended up in the cupboard. But no, I hold on! I decided to drink more water. The Internet says that you need to drink at least two liters a day. I diligently follow this advice, but now I have another problem - I already know all the toilets on my way. Day Five
By the fifth day, I realized: I can't give up! I find a cool workout video and decide: I'll do it every day. Well, the first day goes quite well. The second day starts with slight muscle pain. On the third day, I'm already starting to curse everyone who said that sports are fun and great. But no one said it would be easy, right?
A week has passed
And now, a week later, I step on the scale... and see that I've lost a whole 200 grams! Yes, not 2 kilograms, but only 200 grams! At that moment, I understand: maybe it's not about eliminating all the tasty things from your life? Maybe I should try a different approach?
The right approach
The next day, I decided that I'd had enough of being strict with myself. I decided to switch to a more reasonable regime: eat more often, but in small portions, added more vegetables and fruits, gave up fried foods, but allowed myself something tasty sometimes, so as not to break down. And most importantly, I started walking more. Just walking in the park, enjoying a sunny day and enjoying the process.
Result
A few months passed, and you know what? I really started losing weight! Slowly but surely. And most importantly, I started feeling lighter, more energetic and, what is important, happier. After all, a diet is not a punishment, but self-care!
So my advice to everyone who wants to lose weight: no need to torture yourself with strict diets and starvation. Listen to your body, pamper it with the right and tasty food, move more and be sure to smile! After all, this is the only way to lose weight correctly and with pleasure.
