When i was a child

The beginning was not easy. At first I felt like my legs were completely disobeying me. I got confused in my steps, forgot the movements, and at times I wanted to quit. But the coaches were patient, and the desire to dance, despite all the difficulties, grew with each lesson.
Soon I began to feel the rhythm, the music seemed to lead me, and the movements became smooth and natural. Each lesson opened something new, and I learned not only to move to the music, but also to express emotions through dance. At first I practiced in a group, but after a while I was offered to join a duet, and it became a new stage in my dance journey. I learned to work as a couple, to feel my partner and trust him.
The most vivid memories I have are from competitions. The adrenaline before going on the parquet, the glitter of costumes, the mesmerizing atmosphere - all this left an indelible trace in my memory. My partner and I practiced hard, prepared for each performance, striving to show the maximum of our abilities. These moments on the parquet, when the whole world seems to freeze, and you and your partner merge in one movement, became a true holiday for me.
Ballroom dancing taught me discipline, perseverance and the ability to express my emotions through art. This experience has helped shape me as a person, given me many friends and unforgettable moments. Sometimes I think that if I had the opportunity, I would go back to the parquet again, if only for one dance, to feel again the ineffable magic that can only be felt in dance.
