I’ve experienced stepping out of the ego and being in a natural state of desirelessness, so I can answer this not with abstract theories, but with practical advice. 💕

Between egoism and altruism, it’s possible—and necessary—to put the word 'AND'. ✅

To live harmoniously in this world and bring benefit to others, we must set a course forward by setting goals for ourselves. ☝️

These goals should be oriented toward the greater good, growth, development, and prosperity, as well as your own well-being and the well-being of your family. ❤️

The key is that your goals should serve as a beacon, not something you chase after frantically, willing to break yourself in the process to achieve them. 😌

This balanced approach to goals is possible if you set them from a place of value, not from a place of need. You need to learn to think about growth and development when everything is going well, not when things have become urgent. 🔥

Imagine walking into a restaurant when you're extremely hungry. You’re likely to order something that isn’t particularly interesting or delicious, but whatever can be made the fastest. You’ll rush the waiter, and when the food arrives, you’ll devour it quickly without savoring it or really enjoying the experience. 😨

But if you come to the restaurant a couple of hours after a light snack, you'll take your time choosing, and you might opt for something you really love, or try something new, perhaps even order a gourmet dish that takes 40 minutes to prepare. Then, you'll enjoy your meal with great pleasure, and you’ll be able to look back on it with joy and gratitude. 😇

This is exactly how we should learn to approach life: choose our desires and the direction of our lives from a state of contentment—everything is good, but it can be even better. 👍
