As an assistant to the deputy, I cannot help but say first of all that Odessa is the third most populous city in Ukraine, in the capital region, on the coast of the Gulf of Odessa, live more than a million people. Odessa is not just a large commercial port, our city has well-developed tourism and trade, diverse industry, a huge scientific and educational center. Odessa is also a cultural city. In 2023, the historical center was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.Cool, right?

If you ask the locals what is worth paying attention to, they will most likely answer you about the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater, Potemkin Stairs, Deribasovskaya Street, the Duke de Richelieu Monument and, of course, our wonderful sandy beaches. This is far from the entire list of attractions in my city. But due to the length of my work and having lived a long life, I will say that the main attraction of Odessa is our wonderful, kind and sincere people. Who overshadow both the chic architecture of the 19th century and the beautiful nature.

And even when I leave this wonderful place, I am sure that I will remember it with great warmth inside. I think I will come here as to an old friend who is always glad to see you. My beautiful city with a Soul. My Odessa.
