Halloween: sacred, which for the rich means more, not just costumes

For me, Halloween will always be about the ability to infuse life with a great story or idea, as well as the magical thrill that comes with the autumn cold and the light of the candle. Once, when I was still a student, my friends and I were celebrating Halloween in an unusual way - we went for a walk to an old abandoned castle, about which there were mystical feelings!!

During the hour of our walk, we were jostling and trying not to go out into the dark until one of us was out of sight. At first we thought that he was just going to screw us over. As soon as there weren’t any more chills, we started to get excited. As it turned out, I knew an old room with a window, which offered an incredible view of the place at night. We got enough of it, and all the fear was replaced by a feeling of calm and quiet beauty.

That moment when we all stood together, marveling at the fleeting fires of a distant place, showing me that even in dark moments one can one day find something brighter. And for the rich, Halloween is just as sacred: a little fear, a little light, as we know in the midst of the shadows.

What does Halloween mean to you? What special traditions or stories do you have associated with this saint?
